About The Position
WorkFit Medical Staffing is currently seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses to join our long-term care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in skilled nursing facilities, ensuring their health and comfort are maintained.
Requirements
- Current and valid New York State LPN license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or similar setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide support to promote resident well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare safety and infection control standards.
