LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs. New graduates are welcome. This is a full-time role with 12-hour shifts: 6 p.m.–6 a.m. or 6 a.m.–6 p.m. The nurse must be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Pay is up to $33 per hour based on experience, with a $3 shift differential for the 6 p.m.–6 a.m. shift.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Obtain CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and keep it current throughout employment.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
- Be available to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
