About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Washington Healthcare Center. In this role, nurses build meaningful relationships with residents by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The work offers opportunities to contribute to a supportive atmosphere and coordinated, excellent senior care. Requirements

• Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet and exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
