About The Position

Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for your next career step? We have permanent and on call opportunities at both the Skilled Nursing Facility and the Intermittent Care Facility (ICF) at Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center located in Shoreline, WA. As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The campus includes both Skilled Nursing and Intermediate Care Facility units, where nursing staff provide consistent, high-quality care in partnership with interdisciplinary teams. This is a hands-on nursing role where you’ll contribute directly to care planning, daily treatment, and communication across the care team. Please note: We have multiple vacancies for permanent and on-call positions with various shifts and schedules. As part of the online application, you will be asked to select your preferences. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and a free Orca card for transportation use. Requirements

  • Valid Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Responsibilities

  • Be a vital and active member of an established interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Provide practical nursing services and care to clients with intellectual disabilities.
  • Participate in the implementation of health care plans and respond to changes in client needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
  • Record accurate health and treatment information in client charts.
  • Communicate client status and care updates to the broader care team.
  • Provide guidance to direct care staff on client health matters.
