About The Position
Promotes health and healing, and provides education as a member of the health care team to achieve optimum care for residents in Long Term Care. Performs routine procedures such as recording vital signs and administering medications while also providing specialized treatments for progressive and chronic conditions. Provides educational and emotional assistance to residents and family members. Assesses residents and develops, implements, reviews and evaluates resident plans of care.
Requirements
- Practical Nursing Diploma
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS)
- English language proficiency
- Basic computer skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
