Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)- Jonesboro IDD Facility - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Arisa Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support their IDD TC Program in Jonesboro. This role serves individuals with mental health needs, including those with occurring intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). The LPN will provide direct care such as checking vital signs, administering medications and injections, and working with insurance to approve medications for clients. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working in a mental health facility. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest nonprofit behavioral health provider, offering a wide range of services across 41 counties.
Requirements
- Associate degree or advanced specialized training
- Arkansas LPN Licensed
- One year experience as an LPN
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Valid AR Driver's License and a good driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with adults in a clinical setting
- Experience working in a mental health facility
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement physician orders.
- Administer medications, draw blood, or administer other tests or procedures as ordered.
- Complete appropriate records and documentation.
