Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the MST setting. Central Maine Healthcare (CMH) is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC), Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital, along with the Maine College of Health Professions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
