About The Position

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience across a variety of patient care units. This full-time position is in the Float Pool at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois, on the night shift.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• IV certification upon hire, as required by state-specific requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of experience in acute care nursing preferred.
• Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate preferred, or obtain it within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities
