About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate clinician to provide overnight care for a client in Long Valley, NJ. This private duty case requires a nurse who is confident providing skilled nursing care in the home. The ideal candidate has experience with seizure monitoring, PEG tube feedings, medication administration, and providing total care in a home setting.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey nursing license (RN or LPN, depending on case requirements)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Physical exam within the past year
- PPD/QuantiFERON or chest X-ray as required
- MMR and other required immunization documentation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with seizure disorders and PEG tube care preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one overnight nursing care.
- Monitor for seizure activity and changes in condition.
- Administer overnight PEG tube feedings using a feeding pump.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and incontinence care.
- Assist with mobility and wheelchair use as needed.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the family and the clinical team to ensure quality care.
