About The Position
Rosewalk Village Lafayette is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents. The role involves building meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ life stories and using nursing skills to provide excellent senior care. The position is available full-time or part-time, with day, evening, and night shifts.
Requirements
- Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
- Contribute to a respectful and positive work environment.
- Manage medications proficiently.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
