Assist patients in their move toward independence by setting realistic goals and treatment plans. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and often coordinate patient care and team activities. LPNs work under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals. They should have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and a thorough understanding of patient care protocols. This is a PRN as-needed position, you must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. You may be required to work additional hours if requested by your supervisor to accomplish work objectives. Work hours may vary (increase or decrease) depending on the needs of the unit.
