We are looking for daytime LPNs for our 40-bed skilled nursing facility.

Requirements

Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

College or university degree desired.
1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on resident care.
Proper and timely administration of medications and treatments.
Provide accurate verbal and written reports.
Rapid response to all emergency situations.
Perform professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments, recording vital signs, and administering medications and treatments.
Keep timely documentation of written and verbal reports to ensure quality care.
Interact with the resident’s physician, pharmacist, and medical personnel as needed.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility, following the guidelines in the Resident Care Plan.
Assist with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of Team Members.
Participate in and attend all required in-service training and education programs.
