About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Westville Correctional Facility in Westville, Indiana. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
