About The Position
Maryland Heights Center for Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to help open its new hospital and provide behavioral health care to the community. The newly built, 20-bed acute adult and geriatric hospital provides inpatient psychiatric care to geriatric patients who require hospitalization due to cognitive illnesses resulting from stroke or dementia, as well as other mental health disorders. The role offers an opportunity to contribute beyond medication administration in a safe and supportive environment focused on personalized behavioral health care. Day and night shifts are available. The position is offered as full-time, part-time, or PRN.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients receiving inpatient psychiatric treatment for cognitive illnesses, including those resulting from stroke or dementia, and other mental health disorders.
- Contribute to personalized behavioral health care in a safe and supportive environment.
