About The Position

This is a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position requiring 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with every other weekend required. The LPN will deliver nursing care in accordance with PCM Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with established nursing standards and scope of practice limitations. The role may involve functioning as a Charge Nurse in the absence of a Head Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse. Duties include providing comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements, and performing duties under the supervision of an RN pursuant to protocols established by the Medical Director.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
Licensed to practice nursing in the state in which the facility is located.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to function under supervision.
Demonstrate clinical competency.

Nice To Haves

Experience in correctional health care delivery system helpful.
