About The Position
Our beautiful independent and assisted living community is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This individual will support the Assisted Living Director of Nursing (DON) in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centered care. Delmar Gardens is a family-owned, St. Louis-based company that has been serving the community for 60 years. Our diverse and unique mission and philosophy of Love, Care, and Understanding extend not only to our dear residents but equally to our invaluable staff.
Requirements
- Licensed in the State of Missouri
- Excellent communication skills
- Enjoy working in geriatric medicine
Nice To Haves
- Prior long-term care experience is a plus
- Familiarity with MatrixCare is preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing nursing services
- Assessing residents’ needs
- Developing and updating individualized care plans
- Communicating with residents, family members and physicians
- Supervising care staff as needed
- Participating in the rotating on-call schedule
