About The Position

HealthCARE Express is hiring a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for its urgent care team in Bryant, Arkansas. The LPN works alongside providers to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment, support clinic operations, and help create an exceptional patient experience. The position offers part-time or PRN scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and pay of $26 per hour. Some Saturday work is included. Newly hired team members may be required to attend a four-day onboarding training session in Texarkana, Texas.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and teammates.
• Multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Comfort using electronic medical records and basic computer programs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous nursing experience in urgent care, family practice, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patients’ vital signs and prepare them for examinations and treatments.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and routine laboratory testing.
• Administer medications and injections within the scope of practice.
• Start IVs and assist with wound care and minor procedures.
• Administer TB skin tests.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation.
• Support providers throughout the day.
• Work with teammates to keep the clinic running smoothly and provide an exceptional patient experience.
