This role involves providing direct nursing care and treatment to individuals as prescribed by licensed providers and under the supervision of an RN. Responsibilities include medication administration, personal care, health status monitoring, documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The LPN will also support and educate direct support staff, ensure medication orders are current and secure, and respond to emergencies. The position requires adherence to OPWDD guidelines and agency policies, maintaining confidentiality, and practicing within the legal scope of an LPN in New York State.
