Requirements

  • Valid New Jersey LPN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing particularly in sub-acute care and assisted living.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of and commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • CPR and BLS certifications.
  • Flu vaccination required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to supervisory orders.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Document patient information, treatments, and responses to care accurately.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
  • Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols for nursing care.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
