About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the Day Shift (7am-7pm) to provide quality medical care for clients throughout their admission, treatment, and discharge process. This role involves coordinating pharmacy and prescription needs, dispensing medication, maintaining med logs, collaborating with medical and clinical teams, and providing patient education. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, professional, and committed to exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Current LPN licensure in Pennsylvania or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
- Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
- Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
- Provide patient education in individual and group settings
