About The Position

This role is for a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in Respiratory Stroke Intermediate Care. The nurse will take a lead role in comprehensive patient assessments, utilizing clinical intuition to monitor well-being and proactively manage patient outcomes. They will safely administer medications and treatments, monitor for adverse reactions, and execute vital laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Additionally, the nurse will empower patients and their families by explaining treatment plans, serving as a link to recovery, and providing guidance for self-care and long-term wellness.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
You must possess a current IV Certification at the time of hire to perform essential functions.
