Licensed Practical Nurse (Full Time)
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care to a variety of patients within an assigned unit or area. The position requires completing an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program and examination and holding a state license. The nurse must work accurately under deadline pressure, adapt to constantly changing situations, interact with a variety of people, and handle stressful situations and conflict. The employee performs other duties as assigned and follows applicable licensing-board or agency requirements, as well as Benefis Health System policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state Licensed Practical Nurse licensure within the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
- Ability to handle constantly changing situations, interact with a variety of people, and manage stressful situations and conflict.
Responsibilities

- Perform job duties and tasks as assigned.
- Follow and adhere to requirements, regulations, and procedures of applicable licensing boards or agencies.
- Comply with Benefis Health System organizational policies and procedures.
