About The Position
This role involves contributing to comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments with precision, performing essential laboratory tests and therapeutic services, and empowering patients and their families with education for a successful transition home.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to comprehensive patient assessments, ensuring a proactive approach to well-being and identifying critical needs early in the care journey.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision, vigilantly monitoring patients to ensure safety and an immediate, informed response to any adverse reactions.
- Perform essential laboratory tests and therapeutic services, delivering accurate results that drive timely and effective clinical decision-making.
- Empower patients and their families by providing clear, compassionate education on treatment plans, self-care, and available resources to ensure a successful and confident transition home.
