About The Position
Centurion Health partners with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide comprehensive medical and behavioral healthcare services to individuals in custody. Our teams operate in structured, secure environments focused on consistency, safety, and quality patient care. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Metro Reentry Facility provides direct patient care and supports overnight clinical operations in a structured correctional healthcare setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident working independently, maintains strong clinical judgment, and thrives in a consistent, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Georgia or compact license (must be in good standing)
- Current CPR certification (must be active)
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a structured environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in one or more of the following preferred: Behavioral Health, ER, Med-Surg, or Correctional Healthcare
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care within scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN or provider
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Support intake, sick call, and chronic care needs as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Follow all clinical protocols, safety procedures, and facility policies
