Licensed Practical Nurse, Per Diem, Hospice
About The Position
BAYADA is recruiting a compassionate Hospice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve patients in Barton, Jasper, McDonald, Newton, and Dade counties. This per diem position provides hospice nursing care in patients’ homes, where they can receive comfort and dignity. The LPN is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing, psychosocial care, music therapy, and veterans services. The role includes 1:1 direct care in clients’ homes, hands-on training supplemented by virtual learning, and 24/7 clinical support as part of a larger interdisciplinary care team. Local travel to assigned cases is required.
Requirements
- Active and current LPN license.
- Ability to travel locally to assigned cases.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Previous hospice experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
Responsibilities
