About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a private practice setting and travel to practice locations in and around Chicago, Illinois. The role works under the supervision of a Physician Assistant or Doctor and calls for a qualified, compassionate nurse, ideally with experience in urological procedures. The position involves recording patient medical histories, performing simple urological procedures, maintaining sterility, and providing efficient care without sacrificing quality. The role requires the ability to lift 40–50 pounds.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Proven experience as an LPN or in a similar role.
Successful completion of an LPN license program.
Ability to perform a variety of care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team.
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry.
Ability to lift 40–50 pounds; the posting also calls for excellent physical condition and stamina.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and able to handle stress.
