About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time, weekend day shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team at Mark Luttrell Transition Center in Memphis, Tennessee. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and mental health needs. This role offers a clinically interesting and diverse patient population in a secure and structured setting, providing a rewarding career in a growing healthcare area.
Requirements
- Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Responding to a range of physical and mental health needs under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff.
