LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions and assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). New graduates are welcome. The position is described as full-time at 30 hours per week and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Obtain CPR certification upon hire or during orientation, and keep it current throughout employment.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
