About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Health Services Department in Galion, Ohio. The LPN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients in a physician clinic under the supervision of a physician or Allied Health Provider. This role involves patient and family teaching, acting as a patient advocate, and coordinating clinical staff regarding patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of patients within the physician clinic with the supervision of the physician or Allied Health Provider (CNP/PA).
- Participates in patient and family teaching.
- Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
- Provides coordination to the clinical staff as to patient flow and clinical operations as directed by the physician.
