About The Position

Join us as a Licensed Practical Nurse! This is a part-time position with 24 hours per week, specifically for the evening shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, requiring every other weekend and holiday rotation. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team, providing direct care and support to patients and their families. You will make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, patients, and community. You will care for individuals in need of psychiatric, emotional, and substance use treatment, acting as a champion for patients and supporting the team. The LPN is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista's core principles and works under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements

Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Massachusetts
CPR certification
Knowledge of behavior health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in psychiatric, or substance use disorders inpatient care
Previous experience in restraint reduction
Previous experience in de-escalation
Previous experience in crisis intervention
