About The Position

Touchmark at Coffee Creek is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse on a PRN/Casual basis. The nurse helps ensure residents receive dignified, high-quality care and serves as a positive presence for residents and their family members. The role works closely with other nurses to design and implement resident care plans, oversees care staff, assists staff with informed care decisions, and supports the care team on the floors. The ideal candidate models Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion, while maintaining confidentiality and composure in interactions with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

On-call and temporary employees are not eligible to participate in employee benefits or insurance plans.

Requirements

• LPN degree from an accredited school of nursing and a current state license.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification, as required by state rules for maintaining current certification.
• 1–2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting.
• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
• Commitment to confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.

• Experience in geriatric mental health.
