The role involves providing direct patient care, documenting interactions, participating in telephone triage, managing laboratory and diagnostic tests, assisting with procedures, and ensuring compliance with various healthcare regulations. The nurse will administer medications, check vital signs, assist with medication history updates, and help with health maintenance requirements. Responsibilities also include patient communication for refills and scheduling, electronic documentation, performing CLIA-waived lab tests, venipuncture, and specimen collection. The nurse will also manage vaccine and pharmaceutical orders, monitor inventory, and provide patient departure summaries.
