About The Position
Centurion is seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services at Rutledge State Prison in Columbus, Georgia. The LPN will deliver holistic nursing care within their scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff to address physical and behavioral health needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Correctional Experience Required
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff.
- Responding to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
