About The Position

Hearthside Senior Living Bartlett is seeking a licensed Weekend Warrior Wellness Nurse (LPN) for our Assisted Living community. This part-time role involves two 12-hour shifts every weekend (Saturdays & Sundays, 6:00 am–6:00 pm), allowing weekdays to remain open. The position focuses on supervising the delivery of care and services to residents within Assisted Living, adhering to state and local regulations and accepted standards of care. It requires ongoing communication with associates, residents, families, professional consultants, and third-party providers to ensure resident welfare. Unlike hospital settings, this role offers a smaller, more personal environment where clinical skills are valued, and strong relationships can be built.

Requirements

  • Active LPN license in good standing in the state of Tennessee
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Compassionate, dependable, and a confident communicator
  • Comfortable working 12-hour shifts in a supportive, resident-focused environment
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with the state licensing agency, as required by state regulations.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of experience working as an LPN in a senior care setting.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Rehab experience a plus
  • Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and leadership to assigned non-licensed associates and other designated personnel in meeting the residents needs and monitor the condition of residents in AL.
  • Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
  • Make work assignments and meet with associates regularly to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas, and/or the improvement of care and services.
  • Provide resident care according to health care providers orders and in accordance with regulatory requirements, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and Company policy.
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications, supervise the continuity of resident care, respond to changes in resident condition, medications, or other circumstances requiring special care needs and perform first aid as required.
