About The Position

Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehab is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 8-hour shifts, with full-time or part-time opportunities. Requirements

Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Proficient medication management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to support a respectful and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
Manage medications.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values when interacting with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
