About The Position
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Pediatric Clinic, you'll play a vital role in supporting children's health from infancy through adolescence. You'll utilize your clinical expertise to assess patients, administer immunizations and medications, provide triage support, coordinate care, and educate patients and families. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, compassion, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. One or more years of pediatric nursing experience is preferred, although candidates with a strong passion for pediatric care are encouraged to apply. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencir_unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of pediatric nursing experience is preferred, although candidates with a strong passion for pediatric care are encouraged to apply.
- If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
