Licensed Practical Nurse, Urgent Care, On-Call
About The Position
Fairview Range is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Emergency Services Department in Hibbing, MN. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide nursing support to patients within Urgent Care. We are a Level IV trauma center and an Acute Stroke Ready hospital. This position will be hours as needed; 12-hour day/evening shifts and weekends as needed. Requirements
- Current Minnesota LPN Licensure.
- Attends BLS class within six months of employment and maintains certification.
- 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of LPN experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
- 1-year Urgent Care/Emergency Room/Clinic experience.
Responsibilities
- Capturing the data involved in total systems assessment, including physical, psychosocial and spiritual data, as well as ongoing data collection.
- Assisting the provider in coordinating a plan of care based on prioritized patient needs in collaboration with the patient, significant other and resource personnel.
- Assisting in provision of age specific direct patient care in collaboration with all disciplines according to standards of care.
