About The Position

Carecor is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare team. LPNs provide high-quality nursing care to patients across all stages of life, focusing on individuals with stable or predictable health outcomes. Working collaboratively with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals, LPNs administer medications and treatments, perform clinical procedures, monitor patient health, and support positive patient outcomes. Opportunities are available in a variety of healthcare settings, including long-term care, home care, assisted living, clinics, and acute care environments. We're ready when you are! Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) work in shifts that usually include evenings and weekends, as access to care for patients may be required 24/7.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
  • Current and unrestricted LPN license in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficient in medication administration, patient monitoring, and clinical documentation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
  • Ability to adapt to various healthcare environments and work flexible shifts as required.
  • If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent clinical nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, home care, or community settings is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, professional nursing care to patients with stable or predictable health needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and injections in accordance with care plans and professional standards.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient health status, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
  • Perform clinical procedures and support patients with activities that promote comfort and well-being.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
