About The Position
Saratoga Medical is hiring Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN/LVN) for Night Shift opportunities in Maricopa County, AZ. This role offers competitive rates and flexible work opportunities. The position type is LPN/LVN – Night Shift, requiring a commitment of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week for a minimum of 13 weeks, with potential for extension. The schedule will be based on staffing needs and an assigned shift chart.
Requirements
- Copy of current, valid, unrestricted LPN license issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or a participating Compact State
- Copy of current, completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (Nursys)
- Copy of current N95 fit testing
- Copy of current First Aid Certification
- Minimum one year of previous work experience as an LPN/LVN
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of LPN/LVN practice
- Assists with patient assessments and implements nursing interventions as directed
- Monitors patient conditions and reports changes to the appropriate healthcare provider
- Administers medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Maintains accurate, objective, and timely patient documentation
- Provides health-related education and support to patients as appropriate
- Assists with routine clinical procedures and patient care activities
- Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Participates in orientation and training activities as needed
