LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Days
About The Position
Lawrence Presbyterian Manor is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The LPN ensures care and supervision comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the department director or supervisor, to maintain the highest quality of care. The position reflects the value that residents come first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a homelike environment, and models person-centered care. The role is listed for days and starts at $27.00 per hour, with shift and weekend differentials under a premium pay plan. Additional pay is based on experience. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved LPN program.
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the state.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous geriatric nursing or long-term care experience.
- I.V. certification.
