A nonprofit founded in 1969 in Charlotte, North Carolina, we have since grown to be one of the largest providers of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment in western North Carolina. At McLeod Centers for Wellbeing, nursing is more than clinical tasks. It plays a direct role in healing, recovery, and restoring hope for individuals navigating substance use challenges. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is ready to bring both skill and compassion to a team that makes a real difference in the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited LPN program
  • Active North Carolina LPN license (or multistate compact license)
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Passion for supporting individuals in recovery

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in MAT
  • Experience with individuals on their journey through substance use recovery or behavioral health challenges

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to clients in accordance with provider orders.
  • Support new clients as they begin their recovery journey.
  • Monitor and document vital signs as ordered.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with all medical protocols and provider orders.
  • Respond to program needs, including PPD testing and medical codes.
  • Conduct chart audits and maintain proper medical inventory levels.
  • Support a safe, structured, and compassionate care environment.
