About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on patients with common diagnoses such as dementia and supports their safety and well-being. The position is an 8-week contract in New York, with day-shift options of 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 10 a.m.–10 p.m. The schedule is 36 hours per week and includes every other weekend. The nurse must be willing to float, with no exceptions.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Current New York nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to float.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to patients in a long-term care environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients under their care.
• Administer medications.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
