About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse at The Mansfield Juvenile Treatment Center in Mansfield, Arkansas. The Mansfield Juvenile Treatment Center (MJTC) is a 40-bed, all-boys program located on 236 acres at the foot of the stunning Poteau Mountains. Our center is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential. Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

Works as a key member of the MJTC medical team and provides for the general health care of students within the scope of your license.
Administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff.
Assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
Assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the medical team.
