About The Position
Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) is seeking dependable and caring part-time (WAE/PRN) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN 1, 2, or 3) to join their Behavioral Health Clinics. This role is critical for ensuring continuous and quality care to meet the needs of the communities served. Requirements
- Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Responsibilities
- Provides direct nursing care to clients receiving treatment for mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or medical illness.
- Responsible for performing individualized direct client care.
- Performs standard nursing services, which may include administering prescribed medications, performing injections, maintaining documentation in the electronic health record (EHR), administering screenings, tests, and other required labs, and conducting assessments and screens for new clients.
- Participates as an active member of an interdisciplinary Treatment Team.
