About The Position

Penn State Health Medical Group – Middletown is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for its multi-specialty office, which sees an average of 150–180 patients per day. The office includes Adult and Pediatrics Rheumatology, Neurology, GI, Dermatology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatrics, and Family Medicine. The role combines clinical and clerical duties and follows a weekday daytime schedule. The LPN will prepare rooms and room patients, conduct quality and point-of-care labs, assist providers with in-house procedures, monitor messages from patients and providers, stock rooms, and help respond to patient phone calls. The selected candidate should communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment, or hold a multistate LPN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required before completion of orientation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Responsibilities
