About The Position
VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care, is seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for various shifts (Day, Evening, Night) at Sussex Correctional Institute in Georgetown, DE. The LPN delivers quality care consistent with the scope of practice defined by the state nurse practice act. Responsibilities include performing delegated tasks, monitoring patients as directed by healthcare leadership, and potentially assigning duties to others. Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Must be available for at least 3-4 weeks for on-site training.
- Must be available for at least 3-4 weeks for onsite training.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Corrections.
- Experience as an LPN.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses.
- Perform tasks, activities, and functions as delegated.
- Make assignments of duties to others as defined by the state of practice act.
- Provide monitoring of patients as directed by the HSA, DON, RN, or Medical Director or other practitioner.
