Competitive salary based upon relevant education, experience and licensure. Salary $26.70-$30.00/Hourly. Opportunity for advancement. Monday Required shift 7am to 7pm. Tuesday through Sunday, as needed. As needed to fill holidays, LOA, vacation, weekdays, and weekends 7am to 7pm shifts (schedule notified in advance unless an emergency). Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Valid IL LPN license.
- BLS/AED CRP trained.
- At least 5 years' experience in long-term care nursing.
- At least 5 years' experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to provide leadership and training to direct care personnel.
- Participate in ongoing learning opportunities to keep skills current.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory insurance.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care in the facilities.
- Identify changes in clients' conditions and take appropriate action.
- Plan and provide direct care that maximizes functional capacities.
- Complete documentation in accordance with regulations and facility practices.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, and other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
