About The Position

Maple Park Village is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). In this role, nurses use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while building meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. The position calls for a supportive, engaging presence and strong teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and communication to help provide coordinated, excellent care. Applicants must hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana and demonstrate the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence. Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence toward residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through effective interpersonal communication.
