About The Position
PrimeCare Medical is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for both full-time and part-time positions. The full-time position is for a dayshift role from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, requiring every other weekend and every other holiday. The part-time position involves one day shift per week (Thursdays), one evening shift per week (Fridays), and every other weekend on day shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Licensed to practice nursing in the state in which the facility is located.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to function under supervision.
- Demonstrate clinical competency.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in correctional health care delivery system helpful.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with PCM Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that nursing practice complies with established nursing standards and scope of practice limitations.
- Function as Charge Nurse in the absence of Head Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care while observing and maintaining security requirements.
- Perform duties under supervision of an RN pursuant to protocols established by the Medical Director.
