About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time, day-shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide healthcare services at Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, Tennessee. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to address a range of physical and behavioral health needs. The position pays $31–$38, depending on experience. The schedule is 5:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., three shifts per week, with rotating weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one.
- Active, appropriate certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screening and a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Work under the direction of Registered Nurses and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and behavioral health needs.
